Just Remembering By Ron Cummings

Just remembering things that Travis liked to do. And I remembered that, even though this sounds silly, we used to play hide and seek. We would get about 10 to 20 of us together and go to the high school and play for hours. Let's see if I can think of some of the names of people that went. Me, Jen Knaut, Rachel Noble, Rachel Vanburen, Steve Victory, Ryan Parks, Jay Long, Shawn Bouchard, Heather Varley, Jesse and Karen Bay,.. That's all I can remember, but there were more. Half of the track team would go. We would play on teams. Me and Trav, sometimes Me and Parks or whatever. We would hide all over that place.. And we would scare the hell out of one another. Those were the times after Trav graduated he told me that He envied. I totally agree. I miss not having a care in the world, running free. He lived his teenage years to the fullest. I know, I was there to help out. I am proud of what he became. A Navy man. That's what he told me he wanted to be. He did it. He made me proud in high school with eveything he did. I couldn't wait until he got out of the Navy to see what next he would conquer.. I guess God will only know. Miss you Travy Wavy... Ron Cummings
